Export customs clearance

We prepare and monitor customs formalities for Union goods shipped outside the customs territory of the European Union.

What export clearance involves

The export procedure allows Union goods to leave the customs territory of the Union. The operation is completed by confirmation of exit, which is essential evidence for the tax and commercial treatment of the export.

Our services

  • review of commercial documents and the Incoterms delivery term
  • preparation and lodging of the export declaration
  • support with EUR.1, origin declarations, A.TR. and other proofs where applicable
  • temporary export, ATA Carnet and outward processing
  • MRN and exit-confirmation monitoring
  • amendment or invalidation of declarations when required

Typical documents

  • commercial invoice and packing list
  • transport document
  • EORI number and representation authorisation
  • documents supporting the origin and originating status of the products
  • licences, approvals or special documents depending on the goods and destination
Important: The appropriate origin document depends on the destination country, the product and the rules of the applicable trade arrangement.
